A Vision Taking Root

Construction began in 2025 with a simple but powerful mission: to fight food insecurity while building a stronger, more connected community. We wanted to create more than just a vegetable patch; we wanted to build a sanctuary. In a world that often moves at 100 mph, the Tranquil Community Garden is designed as a place to slow down, breathe, and reconnect—with the earth and with each other.

More Than Just Garden Beds

We’ve been busy digging, planting, and building to ensure this space offers something for everyone. Currently, the garden features:

  • Diverse Growing Spaces: A mix of in-ground and raised garden beds powered by modern irrigation systems.
  • A Path to Peace: A dedicated walking path and a prayer area featuring a prayer box and the Stations of the Cross.
  • Coming Soon: We are currently beginning construction on a prayer labyrinth and continuing to expand our garden beds to accommodate more growth.

Love Grows Here

The garden is already hard at work! We are proud to produce fresh fruit and vegetables for our neighbors, donating directly to local families and partnering with Seeds of Hope.

We’re also fostering the next generation of gardeners—our local Girl Scouts have already rolled up their sleeves and planted two in-ground beds!

Looking ahead, the garden will offer:

  • Community Education: Programs to help you learn the art of sustainable gardening.
  • Family Plots: Opportunities for individuals and families to claim their own garden space to grow food for their own tables.

"This isn't just about growing food; it's about growing together. As we like to say, Love Grows Here."

Whether you’re coming to see the new prayer area, check out the progress on the labyrinth, or find out how you can get your hands dirty in your own garden plot, we can’t wait to see you there.

Let’s celebrate a new chapter of peace, prayer, and produce in our community!
